Sure sign of aging
A sure sign that one is aging: Pants that don't fit anymore. And these aren't pre-Ella pants, these are just pre-Norah pants. With all that post-Ella extra weight on way back when, I bought a couple of really nice pairs of capris. And now that I'm post-Norah and at pretty much the same weight I was when I bought them, they still don't fit me. That means I have almost no summer clothes ... and ultimately, a whole new summer wardrobe on the way! Yay! But despite that sure promise of new summer attire, it's still a depressing realization.RANDOM THOUGHT
I have a small canker sore. I hate canker sores. No one, not even a dental assistant I asked a few years ago, has ever been able to tell me what causes canker sores. But I seem to get them more often than the average person. Yeah yeah, I know, it's gross. But I still hate canker sores.

ma mom always told me people get canker sores due to lack of sleep or just being tired in general... maybe you need more sleep! easier said than done, right? =)

Not sure how tiredness is related to canker sores, but it's the best reason I've heard! And hey, our moms and their weird Asian advice always seem to have an ounce or two of truth to them, right?
I'll be waiting for the chubby picture. And I've been so busy and forgetful lately -- I'll drop off the wallets of the girls in the mail this weekend!
well, from what i learned in my nursing and health assessment class, the cause of canker sores are unknown, BUT it is associated with stress, fatigue, and maybe even food allergies. but, from what i've been reading through your blog, i think you're just stressed and tired, so that may be what's causng them. you need a break!! it's okay, i get them a lot too, but i've been noticing that when i'm not super stressed i don't get them, yet when i'm stressed (like this past weekend where i had to watch the store, finish up a paper, And prepare myself for my presentation for tuesday's class) I happend to get 2. just thought i'd share that, not like you wanted to know either, but you know!! BTW, girls are looking cute and getting big. I told Jeff that Ella looks so much like your husband, just the girl version, yet I don't know who Norah looks like.......yet still adorable :)

Yes, tired is what I definitely am. Stressed? I've been a lot more stressed out than what I am now. But you're the second person to suggest this, so it must have some merit.
Ella looks just like her dad. Norah resembles my sister May; not sure if you've met her. It's the eyes more than anything because John and I don't have the prominent eyelids that she does. Btw, thanks for reading! Jeff tells me that you're on here occasionally. I guess this way we'll have some things to talk about when we can actually meet face to face!
